Paira 2.0: bring the next key person to your life

(01) Overview

From a concept to a market-ready app.

Paira matches founders, builders and collaborators through an AI assistant instead of a swipe deck. The team came to us with a vision and an early concept.

We handled the end-to-end design of this product, from initial architecture to final execution, working closely with the startup’s in-house designers to ensure a seamless workflow from start to finish.

Post a request with AI

The flagship flow. One tap on the yellow button, a few chips, and the assistant turns a vague ask into a posted request with the right people already invited.

  • AI home: I’m looking for help / I want to help others

    01 · Choose an intent

  • What do you need help with? Chips for interview prep, resume review, job application

02 · Say what you need

  • The assistant asks a clarifying question with quick-answer chips

03 · Answer three quick questions

  • Drafted request: title, description, request type, industry, location, reward

04 · Review the drafted request

  • Matched helpers with the reason each one fits

05 · Meet the matched helpers

  • Helpers selected, Send Invites enabled

06 · Invite them in one tap

(02) Challenge

Make an AI conversation feel like the product, not a feature.

The core interaction is a request typed in plain language, answered with real people and matching opportunities. That had to feel fast and trustworthy, while profiles, requests and networking flows stayed coherent around it.

The audience is Gen Z. The interface had to look like something they would actually open twice.

(03) Approach

Architecture first, then every screen.

We mapped the product before drawing it: the request-to-match loop, profiles, networking requests and the assistant that ties them together. Only then did we design the screens, so the AI conversation, the people cards and the follow-up actions share one logic.

The visual system is dark by default with a single accent, built as components so the in-house team could extend it. We iterated with the founders in short cycles until the app was ready for engineering.

“We initially hired them for the UX/UI design of our new AI mobile app, but they provided so much more than expected. They took our concept from ‘zero to one’ flawlessly, optimizing the entire product architecture. Their service truly exceeded our expectations.”

(04) Outcome

Zero to one, without the detours.

Paira left with a complete product architecture, a polished interface and a design system its own team keeps building on. The app is live on the App Store, with the core experience validated before a line of production code was written.

01

Coherent product

One architecture connecting the assistant, profiles and requests, instead of a set of disconnected screens.

02

Distinct look

A dark, Gen Z visual language the brand now uses across app and marketing.

03

Ready to build

A component library and prototype handed off to engineering, with the in-house designers fully onboarded.
